tiki Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 We flew out on a forever l-o-n-g flight to Oahu. We cruised to Kauai, Hilo (Big Isle), Kona (Big Isle), Maui and back to Honolulu. I got in this morning. We got married on Monday in Kauai (definitely the most beautiful isle by far). I got cold ass feet, but did it. I was scared...this being my second wedding and all. We did a helicopter tour, saw the Napali Coast, waterfalls, Kilawea (?sp), black sand beach, glass bottom boated it over a coral reef, more waterfalls, saw Waikiki, did a Luau....my brain is fried. We've got like 500 pictures. Sad, lol. We drove past Diamond head. We saw an active volcanoe from the cruise boat. Pearl harbor, rented a convertible jeep the day we got married...blah blah blah. I'm boring you, I can tell. But we are married. The cruise was cool....the islands were okay, some better than others. Lots of pics though, lots. We drank like crazy. I rarely drank, but I drank coke and rums the WHOLE time. Ocean water was COLD, pool water on cruise ship way too cold. We visited several beaches and bought a lot of crap, including two fresh leis for our wedding. They were gorgeous. The aloha spirit is fascinating. I might would move their if it weren't for the kiddos. And a lot of people there do marijuana. Several people told us it's hard to find help there b/c everyone fails the drug tests.
