So this girl in my class looks at me sometimes and I find it flattering, I rarely get a look from a girl. I caught her staring at me at least 10 times over the past week. She seems really shy, so I know I should be the one starting a conversation. So class ends, and immediately she stands up, speed walks to the door, and I cant get the chance to talk to her! Its like shes avoiding me, but I have no clue why. She's literally one of the first people out everyday. I want to talk to her, but how can I get a conversation out of her? Let's assume for a moment that she IS into you.. Is she acting like it? No, not really. You'll probably just give up, but assuming you don't, it'll make for some good awkward fun. ascendotum Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 I wouldn't jump to the conclusion she is avoiding you, if as you say she is always the first to speed out the door all the time. If she is the shy anxious type then she is not going to be making this easy for you. You can : A. Wait for the opportunity to bump into her outside of class to start a conversation. B. Smile at her when you catch her looking at you next and see what sort of reaction you get. If she is really shy type there's a decent chance you might get nothing back the first time. If you did it again you might, but trouble is you wont know if she is really into you the first time so you may just write her off then. Its worth a shot. C. Ask someone who knows her, a little more about her and let them know you like her, and hopefully you might get some confirmation back that she likes you too and you'll then be able stride up and her chat her up knowing you are a sure thing. 1 Link to post Share on other sites

I have been the girl that looks, and then gets hit on, but had no intentions towards that sort of thing- I was just looking, and for no romantic reason whatsoever.
