helloall Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Hello! I need some advice. After a year and a half of dating the man of my dreams, we broke up. He was leaving for grad school and wanted to go on his own. My heart was absolutely broken. With the support of family and friends, I got over it and have been in many relationships since (some serious, some a waste of time). After he and I broke up, he emailed me/called me, but I wasn't ready for the communication. It just hurt too much. Well, recently, I decided that it was time to open communication again...it's been 3 years...yikes!? My motives are pretty clear to me - I haven't met a guy that I just clicked with that well since then. So, he emailed back giving me a brief update as to what is going on, saying it was 'so good to hear from me.' Does he know that I'm crawling back or does he think this is just friendly communication again? We didn't say a peep to one another for over 2 years. He's been on my mind, but I haven't a clue as to what's he's up to, if he's single, etc. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you
