Is there hope?

Hey guy's.....

 

You've always been a big help and I need you again!

 

It's been 4.5 months since my wife and I have seperated. When we do talk it's short and sweet - she is so cold to me. She's a very stubborn person and I know where her head is right now.

 

I was wondering if anyone had encountered the same thing. Where your ex is so cold and short with you. You feel as though there never going to come around. I guess my question is ....has anyone gone through this thinking there was no way in hell for reconcilliation and then all of a sudden 3 months later you get a phone call and they do a complete 180?

 

Let me know your success stories if you have em? I guess I just still have some hope left in me??

I remember calling up my ex a few months after we broke up. I was thinking of all the things we shared, the happiness we had, and all that good stuff and figured that maybe - just maybe he would be happy to hear from me.

 

When he answered, he just said... "what do you want". Flat, dead, cold. He had no interest in talking to me. None. So, we hung up and that was nearly 12 years ago. To be perfectly honest, I can't tell you how thankful I am that he didn't do a 180. I wouldn't have the life and happiness that I do now, otherwise.

 

I've not had anyone do a 180, and neither have I done a 180 on relationships I ended.

I was like the above when my ex-wife and i decided to mutually seperate. The time spent apart showed me I needed to divorce her cause I was happier w/o her.

 

I filed for divorce after 6 months of seperation and divorce was final 9 months after that.
