FitChick
...even if they aren't doing heavy weights workouts. Interesting article. I've also read that people doing Tracy Anderson's workouts get mushy muscles and then as they work through it, they get shapely and toned. I guess the message is don't give up! Be consistent. StandingO
Maybe genetic. My GF will do this too. She can gain size and muscle much easier in her legs but not arms. She has really strong legs from years of training but gets frustrated that her upper body always lags. She could never get past a 135 bench and today benches a max of 115. On the other hand she made a 305 squat recently.
melell
I definitely bulk up way too easily on my legs. I had to cut down on the amount of weights. Interestingly, despite lifting 30 lb dumbbells with my arms they don't bulk, just get toned. Must be my genetics Same happens for me. I really prefer slender legs, I find it easier to wear the clothes I like. It is annoying as ****, because I love to lift.
Phoe
My legs are too slender right now, cause they're long. Pants typically are a bit loose in the leg unless I'm wearing leggings. Even yoga pants can get a little loose. I'm trying like mad to bulk up the quads, but even though I'm gaining strength and seeing definition, all that muscle is long and lean. It is not bulking up enough! My biceps and shoulders on the other hand, gain muscle so easy it's stupid. Do 3 sets of bicep barbell curls twice a week and I'm set. Instant muscle. Wish my legs would do that...

Hmmm interesting, I think proportionally I am longer in the waist compared to legs, and it is killer hard for me to get a really firm waist, it tends to stay scrawny no matter what I do.
