Ask her to change her passwords. Don't say anything else, don't respond if she says anything. Just ask her to change them.

Shes an ex who has threatened me with police order, she already thinks im a stalker. Hopefully by just posting something less full on will be enough

Um, hacking into her account and posting something is VERY stalkerish. I would definitely not advise it if she's already thrown that word around.

The other day someone had this issue and I think I suggested something like this because they didn't want to just ASK the person to change their passwords. I regret it now because this looks crazy. Live and learn.

I think it will have to come down to self control on my part, I just hate myself. Stupid mistakes ended the relationship and its sad that I cant let it go. Online stuff is the only way I get a glimpse of what remains. But I know it is wrong and looked down upon.

Are you speaking to someone about this? Getting some counselling? You really should.

I had gotten counciling but not on this, I focused to much on what I had, than on whats left behind. My obsessions I guess, not letting go of her, Even tho I tell myself I have.

Ive been messaging a friend of hers, because I believe she will get the message indirectly through him. But even that is risky I know.

I don't think you could write a creepier message than that. You sound full-on crazy.

Just post

"you need to change your passwords"

And if she blames you for posting it, deny it. She'll freak out and change her passwords.

Change the password yourself. They will get kicked out. They will think it's a glitch and reset it and change the password. You don't have to contact anyone and it will resolve itself.

Just do it. She may just change it to something else. And sometimes it rejects a password that was already used.

Cant you email her. Something very forward and non personal? Tell her how you know the passwords and that you are trying to get passed this, please change them. That post would look too emotional with not much control. Dont give her more ammo to fire back at you.

I know you don't know me, but I'm gonna ask you two favors:

1) do not email her letting her know you know her passwords

2) do not post that super immature post.

Like someone said earlier, change them yourself.

Ill do this, change her password. Then that's it. I know her email password aswell. She may think something is up if I change that at the same time.

I had the same problem. I had setup most of her online accounts for her and she would often have me login to do something. We shared everthing.

When we broke up i asked her to change her passwords because i didnt think id have the self control to not see her stuff. And i told her this..so humiliating.

She didnt change them. I had logged into one of her account to check if she had changed it and saw fotos of her with the new guy looking soo happy on a date within day of us breaking up and sleeping together. She has asked that someone take a pic of them. It was so painful.

After this i logged linto ALL of her accounts multipe time with wrong password to force her to reset everything. I called her to teel her she now NEEDS to change her.passoword

Man was she pissed!!!!! (rightfully so ) and so was i. After this i knew she would never contact me again and i would never break NC.

What a relief...this nuclear bomb of cutting ties was one of the best things i did post BU. It happened in the 1st week after i was dumped and i dont regret it all.

It was pure survival time!!!!

Moral of the story is NEVER know your GF's passowords and if you do make sure they change them in front of you if you think a BU is imminent. :) Rock on! Cav

I had all of my ex's passwords (he used the same one for everything), so I just asked him to change them. He didn't change some of them but eventually I just stopped even being interested enough to log on. Ask her to change them, but if you aren't comfortable doing that, just exercise as much self-restraint as possible.

I got my hopes up for nothing, she hadn't changed them. I just need self restraint.

I got abit upset about something last night, I know I shouldve expected it for invading. But the ex was chatting with some dude. And she casually said she doesn't miss me. I know its been 6 months already. But that hurt. Hurts that im still affected, acting all crazy looking at her Facebook. That promted me to throw away memory cards of photos from her and change her password on stupid Facebook that contributef to the break up. NC is where its at from now. Im such a fool.
