Cant stand knowing her passwords for online stuff

I know you don't know me, but I'm gonna ask you two favors:

1) do not email her letting her know you know her passwords

2) do not post that super immature post.

Like someone said earlier, change them yourself.

Yeah, because committing a felony always helps matters.

How does she keep changing the password back if she doesn't know what the new one is?

Also that would be so annoying having to keep changing it back, that alone would make me keep a new password.

I guess she just keeps on resetting it, her friends know her password aswell. Probably thinks its them.

I got four ideas.

1) Cause her to believe she's been hacked.

2) Post her password and e-mail online to an image hosting website, send her the link and she will change it straight away.

3) Keep logging into her account with the wrong password to trigger an official password reset, she won't be able to use the old password.

4) Just don't check it.

OP, I'm starting to think you dodged a bullet with this girl, because she doesn't sound particularly bright.

I see that, but shes very cute. I messed things up aswell, pushed to many buttons and avoided apoligising. I have no idea why, im still haunted by it

Yeah, look fade...

I think you need to just tell her that you're hacking her FB & email every day, and can she please change her passwords.

I cant let her know, too risky

Man, you are just craving being any part of her life, even just the lurking to a point if compulsion.

Fund a new compulsion to replace it.

Maybe skip the AA meetings abd take up drinking.

(I'm kidding)

Try logic puzzles. I'm not kidding.

Or metropolis app on Facebook. YOUR Facebook.

Something really compulsive that you can check multiple times per day (like Loveshack).

I am a very compulsive/obsessive person so I get it. It's like a random reward like gambling and winning if she gets new mail or says something about you.

But if there's nothing there or what she says is a real downer, you get frustrated/agitated or just plummet.

It's also a short-term thrill to know you still have the power to "check-up" on her and its totally covert (unless you change the scenario).

And you also know you have to quit and that it isn't rational.

If you check on a home PC, try to limit your time on the PC overall. Change up your routine significantly.

Every time you get the craving to check her online stuff, set a timer for 22 minutes and distract yourself intently. Paint, do math, something compulsive and step-by-step. When the timer goes off see if you feel the crave to check still.

What I find is that when I toss my compulsions and I get past "craving" stage I usually feel something pretty strong, like I might cry for a couple of minutes. Until the compsulsion starts to fade.

Whatever the emotion is that comes up us usually the one we are trying to subconsciously avoid. But once the emotion is expressed and processed we feel so much better, plus we've thwarted the compulsion.

Wow! I haven't been around much lately, who knew this thread would still be going strong!

Just quickly read through this but Dumped..you're going to end up in a whole world of trouble if you don't stop it. You keep saying you want to stop checking this girls email, so do it. How about you commit to not checking it tomorrow? Only for tomorrow..see how that goes? Then commit to another day etc. Use your computer time for something productive such as researching obsessions/compulsions. Learn from it. Instead of being here in LS right now, maybe you should be on a forum that discusses that topic and hopefully you can find some comfort and most importantly strength to stop this. It's ENOUGH already.
