Squats

 

They work your Bum,legs,abs,back

 

 

There are many exercises that work your abdominal muscles but you won't see them unless you have a low body fat %. There are no exercises that will give you just a six pack, you can't spot reduce fat.

 

Deadlifts are good for your bum and other muscle groups too,

 

You will add more muscle to that area which you will feel like is a more toned bum.

 

Your stomach will become more toned from a clean diet and exercise program. It's all about burning the fat off and gaining a bit more muscle.

 

I got my six pack without ever doing any ab exercises. Don't become one of those people who do endless sit-ups or crunches. You will be better off doing resistance training like (squats,deadlifts) or proper cardio.

 

HIIT is great for stripping off fat. You can do it with weights or cardio equipment, even do it outside running etc.

 

A lot of it is down to diet. You don't have to go absolutely mental but you need to have a sensible diet.

I really want a toned bum and stomach.

 

YES. Squats and lunges. and the stair stepper!!!

 

I do a 10 min warm up on stair stepper.

Then I do 20 squats, 10 walking lunges (each leg), 10 side squats each leg, 20 wide squats, 10 jumping squats and then repeat 2-3 times. Don't worry about time when doing these. Take your time, do proper form and hold the squat for 2 seconds. Add weight once it becomes easy. 10 pds to 15 pds or whatever you can take.

 

I had a flat butt and now my boyfriend can't stop touching my butt and he is amazed at how fast my butt got firm and bigger!! So am I!

I agree with theonlyjuan about abs.

 

Ab exercises do nothing for me, eating right is 80% of getting fit (and getting abs). Then cardio to burn additional fat. Running, jogging, elliptical, stair stepper etc. Eat healthy. 5-6 meals a day. Avocados, almonds, or celery with PB for snacks. Fish, chicken, veggies and rice for lunch and dinner. Protein shake after workout, almonds before workout. Breakfast a bowl of oatmeal or yogurt with berries.

 

Cut out sodas, fried food, white foods.

 

Fuel your body, don't drain it.

This is really helpful. Try to cut down on sugars.
