quick question---birthday coming up...card or not?

Recommended Posts

Just a quick question: I am sure its been asked before, but My ex-fiance broke up with me said she was moving on, and I should too, and that basically we were done...now I have not sent her anything for Christmas, or anything like that, but her birthday is coming up and I was wondering....would it be ok to send a card to her? or should I ( like I am thinking) just move on and drop it and let her initiate any contact?

Thanks!

Why would she contact you - she said to move on. Don't send the card. The relationship is over and unless you two specifically discussed remaining friends there's no reason to contact her or for her to contact you.

well i would send the card.....a simple card, no soppy messages, no hearts or flowers, just a card.

you dont want her to think that you arent thinking of her at all.

but then what do i know, im making a pants job of my own stuff at the moment lol

Moving on...means forgeting these Important things in her life.

do not send a card....how pathetic is that...even if it not your purpose, that is how it will look.

if you want to send her something then send her a dead rabbit in a box with maggots and all that shyt.

don't do shyt for her until she contacts you first.

She asked for no contact, give her that. If she really meant "Gosh, I hope he contacts me" this will teach her to keep it honest next time.

I think what most everyone here has said is what I feel too.....I thought about it, but then I said, no....I am not going to....number one, she asked for no contact, told me pretty much to pack up my crap and hit the road, and number two, if she has any inkling of thought about me, and I know her, if I don't send anything on her birthday, it will have a more profound effect than me not sending anything at Christmas....so I guess I know what to do now!

Thanks!
