themeeks Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 I need help: I've been dating a guy for about two and half months. At 23, this is my first relationship with a guy I really like. We haven't had the talk, but he called me his girlfriend a couple weeks ago. Since then, we've only managed to see each other once. And that was great. But also since then I'm noticing he's not initiating contact with me like he used to: I'm texting first, I'm calling first. I understand that things right now are busy for him: end of work, end of school, and preparing for a move in a month and a half. And yesterday I received a text that his grandparents got sick. I don't mind if contact is less, but I do want a little bit here and there as reassurance that we're still together. It's been doing my head and heart all over the place, and I've been stressed out and upset. I haven't been nagging him and I haven't been asking what's wrong, but it's frustrating for me. He's about to leave for almost a week long vacation for Thanksgiving, and at this point, all I really want to do is just talk to him to figure things out, even if that means we are done. I guess my question is what do I do? Am I over analyzing this whole situation (I haven't seen him in a week and two days)? How do I stop stressing and thinking about?
