AJ Posted March 22, 1999 Share Posted March 22, 1999 last summer my boyfriend dumped me for an older woman who he cheated on me with! since then he has told me how he still loves me and always will, well.. recently he just broke up with this woman and says that we need to talk. i still have feelings for him but i don't want to have to do this to myself again. i still care for him but if he wants reconcilliation i feel that i must say no.. there was many times a while back that i would have but i now feel that i deserve better. am i doing what is the right thing in you alls opinion?? i want to be fair to all concerened but also protect myself! thanks, AJ Link to post Share on other sites

Don't take back the guy who cheated on you and "loves you and always will" I don't buy cheap lines like that coming from guys like him. You'll have relationships that are even better without him. Always remember your memories with him will still exist in you heart and you will always be linked to him universally. Now you must move on and not date him , he just wants a quicky every now and then and that doesn't need to be with you. He will DUMP you again if you do go back with him. Ex-relationship GAMES can be very tricky if the breakup was for someone else's benefit. Getting back together can be done only if the two parties left the relationship in a friendly and mutual manner.
