Something wrong with me?

I have been trying to lose weight for a couple of weeks now and only lost a measely 2 pounds in a month. After i saw i lost only 2 pounds i started getting angry at myself and now im barley eating anything and im constantly lifting weights and jogging with weights. Im avoiding food at all costs and some close friends began to notice it and i dont feel like backing off until im thinner..

 

I havent told anybody i know about this, and im liieng telling my parents that iv eatin when i really havent.. its getting harder to avoid dinner everynight telling them im not hungry, their getting suspicous and I dont feel like having them asking me questions or bothering me

Perfect. So, you lose an amount of weight that is actually perfect for a month's work and you decide to wreck your body by treating it like garbage?

 

Geeze! What did your body ever do to you that you have to torture it?

 

Get over yourself. Get a nutritionist or a personal trainer, find out how much weight you need to lose (you probably don't need to lose any from the sound of your post); find out the healthy way to do it and treat your body like your best friend -- it IS your best friend. Without it, you pretty much die.

 

You might also find out why you are suddenly so desperate for attention from your family that you've decided that lying, and not eating is how you need to communicate. There is something else that is VERY wrong if you are seeking attention by doing yourself harm.

Hi there maybe there is something bothering you if so its good to talk about it ,,,,,

as for loseing 2 pounds thats very good as this way you are doing things right

but hun starving yourself will get you nowere but only make you ill,,

there are so many fantastic figured people out there in this world but you know the main thing in life is YOU and your personality,

 

may i please ask why do you want to lose weight is there a reason for this apart from feeling better in yourself

Well... Yea I hate looking overweight.... I want to be thin, i dont care about a six pack or lots of muscle i just dont want to weigh 190 pounds at 5'10 thats more weight then i should have on i want to be at 170 and it seems impossible to get there i could run for 15 minutes and not even break a sweat... Its winter time and its too cold to run outside but when ever its 50 or above i do it... otherwise i just jog in one place witha 5 pound weight in each hand. And im also benching and doing crunches every day. All i have seen are just the muscles in my arm getting bigger and i dont care much about that.

 

It depresses me to see all my friends below 160 and im at 190... And especially around the spring time i hate going to the pool or going to amusement parks bc of how overweight i am

Hi ok well you are oviouslly big boned very tall also ,,,,,,,,,of which your bones weigh a considrablle amount,,,,,,,,im 5"8 and weighed 215 pounds i hated it so i went to doctors and he gave me some tablets,,,,,when you eat watch the calories ,,fat,,and the carbohydrates as all these are all main things in eating healthy of witch im sure you are anyway

also your weight doesn't mean you are overweight as you are so tall you may look right because of your height,all i can say hun is all the best to you in what Eva you do as this can be a slow course

Yea im like twice the size of my friends... my friends tell me my size and weight and height all even out but i dont believe it... I can see that im chubby...

 

I recetnly bought a punching bag and two 5 pound weights that wrap around ur wrists and im just punching and moving around the bag for 2 hours a day (not 2 straight hours). Will that shed the pounds? or do i need to get involved in some hard jogging. I dont mind jogging a mile but i start to walk and breath heavily anymore then that... I need a way that will make me lose weight. I want to like thinner before the spring time comes any one have a steady workout routine.

 

People have been telling me that starving myself wasnt good so thats why i decided to eat a lil more and i came to this.. Im having a bowl of cereal in the morning with a glass of orange juice... then for lunch ill eat half of a sandwich tomatoe, lettuce, ham, cheese and have a bottle of water and an apple or orange. Then for dinner ill have what my parents make bc its usually healthy. We usually have salad with steak or fish and rice or bread. I cut back on the size of what i eat for dinner. Then late ron that night i would drink a glass of milk.

Hey hun well id love to answer all the questions from you but im not a medical,,,,,so all i can say is what you are doing is correct eat smaller meals drink more water and try not to eat after 6 pm do regular exesises but don't push your body to hard as sometimes its all good exesising but if you do it do much the fat will only turn into muscle and you will not notice a difference in the scales

seek medical advice hun and maybe go online and get some suitable goals ie eat at 9 am then do a 5 min exesise
