Single at 26 after 6 years..

Recommended Posts

You now get to experience what it's like to date as an adult rather than a teen.

It will be OK.

Hang in there.

I know you're feeling worried and think maybe there is something wrong with you but believe me relationship isnt fun to get in. They said you learn so little in peace, but when you are in trouble, you know that peace is pricesless. thats true right. Just be happy that you are free and have nothing to worried about atm, use it to do whatever you want.

When the time come and u need to tie yourself with somebody, atleast u know u had experience everything as a single individual

Being single at any age after a LTR is hard, I was left when I was 43, after 18 years, just at the age where my wrinkles were starting to show and I was starting to notice my age, nice one

treat this as a good thing. if someone good comes around don't be bashful or apprehensive about getting into a 'relationship' based on the fact that you were just in one. the fact of the matter is you could meet the right person right after getting out of a long term relationship. my advice: be open to new possibility, and like right now...

Same here, single at 26 after 8 year ltr.

One really hard thing for me to get the hang of was the concept that being single fine. When there is lots of focus on being in a partnership/trying to be in a partnership, then I think it is time to seriously consider what you are all about.

For me, I realized that if I am too focused on wanting to be with someone, then I am just setting myself up for hurt. Any relationship can fall apart at any point, it is out of our control, best to take the time to really be ok with being alone.
