Just breathe and tell her what's in your heart. You can't go wrong by doing that even IF you don't get the outcome you want. You will always know you gave it your all!! Of course your girlfriend is hurt by YOUR actions to connect intimately with someone else! Can you see your INTENTIONS harmed your relationship? Trust is broken. At times, it can never be repaired - but given the opportunity - it may take YEARS to EARN her trust back.

I guess that's why I was all for it. But I kinda think a woman that would actually be OFFENDED by any romantic gesture may just be a drama queen. . . . just sayin Where is our friend??? LOL! I guess it depends on the situation and the RS because giving flowers to a woman to apologize for doing something that upset her is not necessarily romantic. My ex would treat me poorly then bring me flowers and never apologize (words) for what he did - he felt the flowers were enough. He did this on a number of occasions - so eventually when I would get flowers it would remind me of how badly he treated me. Kind of like Pavlov's dog. .

She was a little freaked out by that. Still ended up taking some away with her though.. 1

When my ex dumped me I baked her a triple layer chocolate cake which took hours because I've never made a cake before and the first ones messed up. I spent quite a bit of money too on the top quality ingredients. I also painted I'm sorry on every inch of the walls. My hand nearly broke off, the words were the same size as on normal paper and it looked like a freakin mental room. I spent hours and hours making a rose origami (I never make origami) which was advanced level but it was awesome. She never got to see these because I came here and realized it was all a waste of time doing them. So my little sister got the cake (she appreciated way more more my ex would of) and I painted the walls back and gave the origami rose to a friend. I was emotionally burnt out and ended the RS in 2011 but then five days later I told her I made a mistake. During those three days she sent me a box. Inside was 100 lucky origami stars each with a reason why she loved me. They didn't help one bit I remember how ungrateful and stubborn I felt about it. I did think wow she took all this time to do this for me. I used to carry all those stars with me everywhere when she dumped me three months ago, that's when I fully appreciated them lol. That aside, when I sent roses to my ex (and typed it in the thread) I got roasted by people saying I was acting like a stalker and such. I feel like we should have a uniform way of evaluating moves..

No absolutely not. I just meant in my situation I would take my ex back. He didn't do anything unforgivable (no cheating, abuse etc) But he did hurt deeply and shouldn't be given a second chance. I just meant if he did an off the wall romantic gesture I would be dumb enough to accept it. That's why he's blocked in EVERY way. I can't be trusted. HAHA! peace and hugs!

Anyways, I would like you guys to know that we are actually getting there. We talked and settled things, she said she will try but never promised me anything. We're not together again but we do things together, like how things used to be few months ago. We started dating again, going out and having fun but no commitment at all. We just know to ourselves that we still love each other. She said and I quote "I'm not yet ready to accept you again but you know that I still love you, we can work on this one together." Everyone, Thank you so much for everything! I don't know if we will still end up with each other but I'm really happy we're still working on it.
