jba10582
So...how I was getting into this... A buddy of mine keeps talking about wanting to smoke weed again, as he has anxiety a lot and had gone through a breakup similiar to mine. Anyway. I am not really going that route for two reasons, I am not really feeling the need to smoke pot and I have a job that does random drug testing and I like my career/job. However, as I was reading about some things about detox stuff as he was talking about it.... Iodine for example, and other superfoods...i.e. wheatgrass, spirulina, ect...These things are suposed to have a very postive effect on the good hormone/chemicals i.e. DMT, melatonin, serotonin, endorphins, dopamine, epinephrine, norepineprhine (ect) as well as get rid of toxic metals and things in the body that are stored in the fat cells...(so also on an exercise cardio/weightlifting regimen). I becoming a believer that you become what you eat. so.. I was wondering if anyone has started using these (superfoods/detox things) and if and how their experiences felt when using and changing their lifestyle up...eating healthier the whole nine yards, (how much positive impact it is having) on their overall well being and happiness. Please share your experiences.
Mr Scorpio
I do believe that eating a healthy diet can have a positive effect on an individual's mental health. You don't need to follow a super-specific diet, just use common-sense: eat lots of fruit and veggies of various colors, lay-off processed food, drink lots of water. Top it off with a multi-vitamin and maybe some fish-oil, call it good. But detox? Take a few minutes to read this before spend your $$$.

melell
For sure. An excellent place to start if foods for fertility- the premise is that in our most fertile state we are the most balanced. I take bee pollen, goji berry, chia seed, spirulina, and 15+ active manuka honey and macca root powder- I add it all to my muesli in the morning. I have never, ever felt better. You do have to be careful and start slow though, most superfoods have a therapeutic effect. For detox, water fasting 100%, especially if you are concerned about heavy metal build up etc.

I have already decided to give it a go if for no other reason then to experiment with what works. I am now starting to use maca root, spirulina, chlorella, and iodine in addition to more alkaline based foods. I may look into some of the other things you have mentioned here. thefooloftheyear
Just remember, folks.... Most of the pro ball players and World Class athletes came from impoverished and inner city environments where nutritional values and sensible diets are non existent....That should tell you something... Now that doesnt mean go out and live on KFC and Frito's, but some of this stuff borders on nutty... Eat a sensible diet,..clean foods...lean meats, etc...Works for me... I challenge this concept from all of the white trash meth mothers having babies. People are fertile under most circumstances.
Author jba10582
I guess I'll update this. After having used these supplements for about a week now I seem to be feeling overall more calm and relaxed throughout the day even more than usual from the past couple months . Energy levels are about the same.
