MidwestUSA
I think you didn't use enough hot sauce and horseradish! Glad to hear you're no worse.
Author Babolat
I think you didn't use enough hot sauce and horseradish! Glad to hear you're no worse. I did not use either as I do not like them. I decided to take it easy yesterday, no gym, nothing physical, seemed to help.
truthbetold
I bought some, organic, yesterday. Did a "shot" this morning, oh my god, I thik the neighbors heard me yelp! This stuff is awful. I'll stay on it though. Drank this last night, tasted like spaghettit sauce, not too bad. I don't feel any better, but no worse. Ouch! Sorry I wasn't more clear, when I said in "some" water I meant like 8 oz or so. You can do a little less than 8 oz, but I def don't recommend a "shot" of it straight and even doing it too often and not diluted enough, well you run the risk of burning your esophagus. As I mentioned, you may be too far along for the ACV to have a positive impact, I've only used it for preventative. You can also flavor it with lemon and or honey, some make a tea out of that. I prefer to get it over with when I need it, so I just down a glass fast. Even though it's an acid I've heard great success of people using it for GERD, acid reflux or heartburn. Don't even get me started on how more often than not, the PPI's make the original problem worse because it creates the opposite effect. But since I don't have those issues, I can't say first hand. I understand the reluctance to use hot pepper drops if you don't like it. But I think it's all the combo of things in the tomato tea that make it effective and how they interact. The capsaicin the key ingredient in hot peppers is good as a decongestant, expectorant, and pain reliever. You want to cough the crap out and get rid of it. Anyway it's good to hear you are no worse! I hope each day has you feeling better and stronger!
EasyHeart
Antibiotics are literally life-savers -- if you have a bacterial infection. If you have a virus, they are worse than worthless. Cardiovascular exercise weakens your immune system. It takes 2-3 days for your immune system to recover. Don't exercise when you have an infection. There was a study out of Mayo a few years ago that found something like 80% of sinus infections were actually fungal infections. You might want to look into that. You might need an antifungal, not an antibiotic. Oh, and STOP EXERCISING!!!
Author Babolat
I still have a lingering cough, no color, but I am a lot better. So my body did it's job!
felicity1
Haven't read the entire thread....active manuka honey 16+ or 22+ will knock down any bug...is also a powerful anti-infammatory and wound healer. I haven't taken antibiotics for the last 6 years...relied completely on manuka...a year ago I got bitten by a white tail spider...the bite causes tissue deterioration/necrosis....never went to the doctor....completely healed by manuka. I also drink rosemary(antiseptic) tea everyday...a great bug preventative.
