BruisedBNBroken Posted December 8, 2013 Share Posted December 8, 2013 Anyone have experience with nesting or bird's nest custody arrangements during a state's mandatory separation period? This is where the parents rotate in and out of the home and the kids stay put. We put in our mediation paperwork that we will do this for a year and then re-evaluate- I know it can't last forever but for the time being we wanted to minimize the trauma and transition for the kids. The days I'm not in the house I will stay in the basement of a good friend and my H has a corporate housing option that he is able to use for very minimal expense.
