2 weeks NC..then he contacted me, I'm dying inside..

He contacted me after 2 weeks of NC...I had pretty much almost managed to go about my day thinking less and less about him..although I know my pain is still very ''young''.

 

Yesterday evening he sent me a message..He dear how are you doing?

 

First I thought, I'm not gonna reply...then I thought, if I don't reply he's gonna think I'm angry with him or something. And whatever happens, I need him to know that I am not angry, but indifferent towards him, that I don't care anymore.

 

He needs to think this because in the past we broke up several times, and the instant he notices that I DO care or still have feelings for him, he starts hoovering and reels me back in...

 

Not this time guys...not this time.

 

So I responded an hour later saying I'm alright, how are you?

He says he's alright too, then asks me what I'm doing. I reply, again in like half an hour saying Not much, home relaxing, and you?

 

He replies...the next morning at 10. So with the time span of waiting from 10.30 at night to 10 in the morning he has YET AGAIN managed to drive my insecurity sensors crazy, thinking what was he doing and why did it take him 12 hours to reply.

 

The push and pull of this commitment phobe has driven me crazy in the past 3 years and I'm at strength now almost...I want to stay this way.

 

So I kept my feelings to myself. And I simply didnt respond to his answer.

I'm aching you guys...but I really want out this time.:(

Do not get caught up in this game of mouse and cat. You know how the cat will still play with a mouse long after its dies and lifeless. Just because the cats having fun doesn't mean that poor little mouse is. You stop being a mouse and stay strong. DO NOT RESPOND. Feel free to tell me the same as I struggle not to reply recently myself but I didn't. You can do this! There's a thread on here titled 'write on here instead of contacting your ex' or something like that. Use it.
