jba10582
Maybe this is a random question, but I'll post it here anyway....Have you ever knew something was going to happen, REALLY felt like it was going to happen and it did? Not talking about deja-vu, although that may be related, but a deep level of intuition or pre-knowledge of something? A lot of people were to have said they knew the world trade centers were going to get hit (when that news story came out)...or maybe someone was going to call you and they did just as you were thinking about them? Does anyone else get this often and if so, do you know how you developed this ability or how to futher develop it?
sarbunoemi
Yes, I often have this especially when it comes to something unpleasant - like I dreamed about my break up right before the break up actually happen - the dream was exactly like in reality so it made me feel relieved because it wasn't something "blindsided". beach
You can gain clarity if/when you clear the mind of outside thoughts. Meditation helps. Get rid of all the crap that collects and stores in the mind - let it go - and understand that people communicate Ina variety of ways. Voice (tone, inflection), body language, chosen words. Then use info presented to process what is "actually happening" instead of how you "want to" view it. These forums are a great tool! Using the words chosen and the manner of which the poster presents the info can be a valuable exercise in reading people and understanding the message they wish to convey. Try it! SpiralOut
Yes, I am intuitive. I've always been that way. Start writing down your dreams, and next to it write down what happened the day before. After a while you might notice certain themes or patterns. I don't always know what my dreams mean right away, but sometimes months or years later I can look back on what I wrote, and I'll see the symbolism of dream images, knowledge that was under my nose that I could not see which my dreams were trying to make me understand. Doing something like writing, artwork, or collecting healing crystals will force you to use intuition. Journaling can help too. My judgement of people has become more accurate now that I write down any "odd" feelings that I get from someone, and what they said or did to give me that feeling. They are almost always right. Looking back in the journal is proof that you didn't just imagine things. Just like anything else it needs to be exercised. I'm sure there are other ways to exercise it; these are the things that work for me. Edited December 11, 2013 by SpiralOut

Does anyone else get this often and if so, do you know how you developed this ability or how to further develop it? There are times when I feel like I just know things and it can be challenging. For instance, I can walk into a restaurant, feel the energy of other patrons, and be completely distracted by their grief, fear, or elation. Sometimes it isn't outwardly obvious, but I feel it. Does that make sense? The real challenge is being able to filter it... As for knowing events, there are times that I am aware that things have happened without being told, yes. I am told this intuition is a gift, and to simply remain open to it. That is the approach I take... Open and loving...
FitChick
I'm very intuitive and get into trouble when I don't listen to myself.
