Help! Run in w/ ex!

Hi all...

I need some insight into an "ex situation" that happened to me. A couple days before X-mas, my ex-boyfriend (whom I haven't spoken to for almost 4 months...we've emailed but he stopped emailing me toward the end of november) ANYWAY...he came in to see me at the store I work at (randomly). I'm sure he's curious about how I'm doing and I know he was in the area (he was shopping for holiday gifts so it wasn't like he made a special trip to see me) but he kept asking me questions about what I've been up to and how things are going and when we ran out of things to say, he said, "So,...what else???" Neither of us made plans to see eachother again and maybe I'll never see him again? But to be honest, he was my one true love that I'll never get over. You know that kind? All of my friends tell me not to contact him. We've been broken up for almost one year! I should be moving on and I wish he wouldn't have come in to visit b/c now I wonder if he still has feelings for me or was checking in to see if there was any spark still there? Maybe not. What do you think?

He broke up with me (it will be almost a year since the break up this February). We had a long distance relationship, I applied to schools to be near him, he broke up with me b/c we were always fighting (in part b/c of frustration and jealousy...on my part...over the distance) and a couple months after we broke up, I got into school, moved out (to the city he lives in), contacted him very little and now I'm doing better than ever. I'm busy w/ work and school and lots of new friends. I've even dated and had some flings. But I still miss him and I've been thinking about him ever since he stopped in my work to say "hi" But was that all it was? A quick 'Hello' or do you think he was fishing around for more?
