bumblebeethree
I have been separated for just over 5 months now (he left me, suspected he found another girl, the girl now doesn't speak to me although we used to be friends, I never confronted her about it), bumped into my ex at the gym yesterday after not sighting him for a month, he just kept staring and smiling at me normally I would be polite and say hi... I just couldn't be asked I felt that I gave him all the opportunity to be civil he didn't want to be... He worked out really close to me...(normally he makes sure he keeps away, goes into another room and stuff) off cos I still have feelings towards him but I hate that he seems to want to do it in his own terms, he spoke louder then he normally would (for attention I guess). The first few weeks that we separated I tried so hard to get us back together, I guess I exhausted myself and gave up. Its almost like he wanted to talk to me about something yesterday I was busy talking to everybody else (which is normal either he was there or not), I only contacted him over a month ago via email to see how the divorce papers are going, he answered promptly which was unlike him and made sure he answered my email and that he text me to make sure he is answering my email... very strange... I am not too sure what to think, this situation is confusing me especially with my emotional side involved...
nescafe1982
Sounds to me like you protected yourself well; he didn't have the balls to mess with that so he never came up to you directly.... he was probably waiting for you to go back to your old pattern and approach him. But you didn't fall for it, so kudos for you! Nothing positive would have come out of this meeting if you two had talked, and it could have created a problem. If he has something important to tell you about the pending divorce (what else is there to talk about, really?) his lawyer can call your lawyer, right?
