I'd just like to say that if you have very firm beliefs and expectations, then PLEASE put those in your online-dating profiles or state on the first date. For those of us that are older (I'm 45) I am not looking to date to have a good time, I am looking for an LTR and hopefully marriage. If you have very specific criteria don't gloss over it in the beginning and then spend the rest of the time evaluating/judging the other person...not right. It is OK to have deal breakers but to continue dating someone and then pull the "I must be with another XYZ" which is something the individual doing the dumping has known since they started their dating life, is selfish, self-serving and cruel. You may think you are honoring a higher power but trust me, no God wants you to lie, hurt, or deceive another person.
