FitChick
Check out this interesting website with photos of real women. With the drop down menu, make the appropriate selections, although I found out that a lot of photos aren't tagged by age so maybe don't bother. Just goes to show that someone your height and weight may have an entirely different shaped body. Also teach men a few things about women's weight and body shapes. Women, add your own photos. I may do that.
silicone
All women I viewed in 7 clicks weighed more than I do. Now I feel embarrassed.
johan
Is this site designed for shut-in porn addicted guys who truly never leave the house? I can step out my door and see several real women just by walking around the block.

jimloveslips
Also teach men a few things about women's weight and body shapes. Yeah cos we walk around outside with our eyes closed... add your own photos. I may do that. Why? Are you looking validation? Sorry, I really don't understand what this achieves. Is this a take back selfies from soft porn mission? How about we post pictures of penises so we can "teach women a few things about men's length and girth" - at least on the street they are (usually) hidden...
xxoo
The men's posts are making me chuckle. I've been familiar with that site for a while. also there is a website where mothers post photos of their bodies after giving birth. These sites aren't for men. They are for women, to counteract the photoshopped and cookie cutter images of the mass media. They are helpful for a lot of women. It's women being "real" with other women, and that's supportive.

theothersully
Pffft. Nice gallery of obesity and medical disasters about to happen. Some of the women in my flip through were very tall, so weighed 130 or something. Good. Healthy. Others were 5'2" and 310lbs. Hardly a "real woman" just not concerned about her health or possibly lazy as hell. Incredibly, out of 8 women I got on random, only 2 weighed less than I do!!! I have been intimate with quite a few "real women" and none of them outweighed me. In fact not since high school, when I dated a very tall girl, has anyone even approached my weight. To call this collection of overweight people "real" is a misnomer. Most were very unhealthy and obese in my random sampling. We can all control how healthy our bodies are through eating properly and staying active. This is a gallery, to some extent, of people who have let themselves go. Not any more a "real woman" than my 5' tall, 100lbs ex wife or 5'1", 100lbs current hook up in Miami. Or any of the various girls all in around 110 or less (because i prefer shorter). Those were all real women. I'd say more of a "real woman" than any of these because real men and real women take care of the only body they will ever have in their lives... Whoops! Just fell off this 50ft high soap box. Lol Sorry. But really.... these are not real women more than the ones I get with that do yoga and eat right. So why diminish those who take care of their bodies by calling fat women "real"?? Ridiculous. The bullying of in shape women needs to end.

Plug in the height and weight you like, and you'll find them. I'm thin and fit, but I still find the site supportive--because it shows the different ways that the same exact height and weight can appear. It acknowledges the beauty in ALL shapes. As a genuinely thin woman, that is the last site where I would feel bulled.

Even more important than that, is that the site bothers/(dares?) to publish numbers that you just don't often see in print very often. If you take, say, a deck of cards, and flip them all over, one-by-one, and only make a written note of when a face card comes off the deck... and do this for generations/decades... then the ONLY numbers (young women) will ever see... are (those of) face cards... and, on occasion, their own (measurements, etc.). And heaven help those young women if their data aren't similar to face cards.

It's a place for women to show what a woman's body looks like at a wide range of heights and weights. We get to see the numbers with the picture, and it dispels the idea that there is one "right" weight or shape to be. It bothers me that the inclusion of larger women would bring out the assumption that thin women are excluded. It's one site on the internet that genuinely embraces both! And yes, we are all "real" women!!!
Author FitChick
I posted the site to show men that there are no absolutes when it comes to weight. "If she weighs 130 she is fat!" Well, at 5' maybe but at 5'10" not fat. So weight is irrelevant unless it includes other data -- height, measurements, age. Women the same height AND weight can look very different. The pictures tell the story. Which is why you should always post clear pictures of yourself on your dating profile!

And yes, we are all "real" women!!! I have a feeling that you and I would define this exact same thing in ways that are slightly different, based entirely upon how males look at things, and how females see the same things. I would probably opt to define my observation with more detail, in suggesting that the website gives so much data across the spectrum of female appearances/shapes that it significantly offsets the extreme imbalance caused by the media's love for only publishing the measurements of sought-after female figures and having nothing but a big empty void in place of the measurements of anybody else. If, say, a million women marched on Washington... and, say, maybe 23% of them had measurements that most people perceived to be sought-after... and we ONLY revealed the measurements OF those 23%... then it would continue to seem rare that we got to even know the measurements/data of the other 77%. It is that resulting rarity that makes that website so interesting. And I think women are less into the specific detail represented by those measurements... and instead would indeed gain from just, maybe, finally being allowed to know that there are other, real women out there, who look very much like them, and who cite their very same numbers/sizes when looking for clothes, etc. Because where else can one expect to get the same info???

Why would the media want to know a random woman's measurements and publish them? I realize we have less and less privacy in society but that is going to an extreme.
somedude81
I thought you didn't only go for young women and would be willing to date a 32 year old? Looks like you dated that 22 year old for her bod despite what you've said in your thread. I'm not going to say that I'm not attracted to young women with hot bodies. But her body was not the only reason I dated her. Far from it. She is an amazing woman.
SincereOnlineGuy
Why would the media want to know a random woman's measurements and publish them? Why, for that matter, would the media want to know Miss February's measurements, and publish them??? Miss February was merely a random woman just a short time ago, when (at least, her class) graduated from high school. (you'll have to ask the media )
dichotomy
One the men mentioned something about women weighing more or maybe being taller than him.. there is something to this I suppose - for each his/her own match......which is why I rarely have issues with "real women" since it is rare for this "real man" to find one that would be an issue. But then their is no love for a bigger guy in the media images of ripped 2% body fat, 165lb, 5-11" men these days.

Women want taller men, they also want to weigh less than their man. I've been told that I look handsome and a few girls have thrown themselves at me before learning more about me (then drop me like a hot potato). Heh I'm doing something right. There's no space for men like Jonathan Horton in the media.
