blue963 Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 I have been doing a lot of thinking about this relationship, how it effects me, my reactions, etc. as we go into the new year. Has anyone else been going thru this? We are both married so contact is limited. I think I am just so tired of waiting for that little bit of contact that I feel like what is the point any longer. Yet when you care for someone so much and have been in a relationship for 5 years, its so hard to let go. Perhaps fear or finding out how truly lonely things are without it. I have a part of me that knows that its time for me to move on so that I can grow, but my heart and fear are standing in the way. 2 Link to post Share on other sites

We all know people take the time to message when they want to. MM would communicate daily but when he's home he doesn't bother or starts to take for granted I'll be okay not hearing from him 3/4 days in a row. Do what makes you happy OP... I go away with my MM tomorrow for a few days, so we'll have NYE together and get all reflective and philosophical like together :-) Seriously though, I've decided that 2014 is about me and focusing on me. I've let my A totally define me this year; while I will continue the A, I don't intend to let it consume me anymore. ANY relationship that consumes you is unhealthy. 2014 is my crunch year; by the end of it I'll know where I'm going. It feels good to have direction.
