iplaymybassinthesun Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 So I heard recently that my friend's future mother-in-law is hell bent on hooking me up with her daughter. A few months ago I met them both at a party/music jam and must have made an impression on the mother. Her daughter was there with her boyfriend. We had a nice time and that was it. I hope to jam on some more music with them in the future, but didn't give much thought to the daughter one way or another. I've been informed that this woman, who is two years older than me (she's 33), is a serial pot smoker, and this on again/off again boyfriend that I met not only deals pot and other drugs, that's ALL this man does for a living. So immediately I have alarm bells going off. My gut tells me that although I'm in an eight year dry spell, this doesn't sound like a good idea even if I were to entertain it. I can understand if the mom doesn't want her adult daughter with some loser dealer. But the woman chose this dude. Hell I also found out they broke up but she still sleeps over his place all the time. Perhaps I'm being judgmental and too picky. Maybe I don't have the full story.
