Simply put, what happens if she doesn't respond at all to the petition ? And what ARE her options as far as responding ? Any input and suggestions are appreciated. Link to post Share on other sites
d0nnivain Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 Your lawyer should answer all these Qs for you. Typically the person has a certain amount of time to respond, usually 35 days. If they don't respond you can move for default. The case will proceed without their participation but if they pop up & want to participate any time before the final judgment, the court will most likely let them.
