David87
The OP won't listen to our advice, unfortunately he will learn the hard way when his girlfriend will dump him again two or three months later. Then he will start a new thread caled my girfrliend dumped me "again" and I will be the first one to respond with "I told you so". Good luck OP.
melell
In a city of 300,000 I am sure there is plenty more to do than drink... it isn't that small. I just hope that you pay attention to the reality of the situation. I also really hope you understand the consequences of a violent relationship and how destructive that can be to an individual. I really do think that dysfunction + dysfunction = dysfunction, and there is very little way around that. If I try to put myself in her position I would be more concerned about getting help and support for what I have been through, than starting a new relationship- because it is unhealthy and messy. Is this a cultural thing? Like the norm in your social circle? I have noticed with certain people that things like this are tolerated if it is considered normal
