Frank2thepoint
What a wonderful, hilarious article. "Men of the world: You are better than this. I know many of you would never message AaronCarterFan, but many of you would, and a whole bunch of you did. You're better than that." No, such men are not better than that, because they messaged and propositioned the fake profile. Hence why the quoted message will never resonate with them. Several years ago, a friend of mine created a fake profile on POF, using the name Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale's character from the film American Psycho), and wrote in the profile that he likes choking women during sex. He received dozens of propositions from women. Regardless of gender, there are a lot of crazies.
El Brujo
The sort of tongue-lolling, sex-starved lechers who reply to such over-the-top profiles are what keep OLD from dying a long overdue death. They're like the 1 person in 1,000 who responds to spam and makes it all worth it for the spammer.

People suck and will do anything for a pretty face.

Disillusioned
I would have laughed my ass off and played along. I did that once... even told the guys who messaged "her" that "she" would be at a certain popular local restaurant at a certain time. Most of the louts either didn't go or couldn't read, but one of the guys afterward got all boo-hooey and messaged "her", saying he went to the restaurant and didn't find her... hopefully he learned why those of us who are smart, do meetups. BTW this one gal who works in the pizza kitchen at Costco apparently has the hots for me... I wish she didn't, because she's hyper, loud, she smokes, and she has a mouthful of really horrible buck teeth. I can't imagine dating her, let alone anything more intimate... I don't want a gold trophy cup THAT badly.
