Cocochai
How many MW or MM actually confess about the A (if there wasn't a Dday), to their BS to actually truly change and work on the M to stop the A(s) from happening again? One of the many reasons why the cycle doesn't stop of reaching back out to the AP or starting a new ones could be because, they don't think facing the problems within themselves or the M will help? Or how many didn't get support, never told their BS about the A and was still able to stop the A or cheating altogether?
Bittersweetie
Hi Coco, I am a MW who had an A, told my H, and we have reconciled. I spent a lot of time working on myself and we both spent time on our relationship. You can read more of my story here: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/romantic/marriage-life-partnerships/infidelity/421926-my-story-fww I do think that if I hadn't tackled my issues, I may have reached out to xOM or someone else. However I chose to live with honesty and integrity and my life is so much better than it was before or during the A. My H is truly my best friend and I am so fortunate that he gave me a second chance. Hope this helps, B

I truly believe that's the only way to stop the A is being open and honest so you two could possible fix the issues or whatever is missing in the M.
