'My BF cheated on me.. I gave him a second chance...should I have?'

My boyfriend called me up today telling me he had cheated on me and just realized it today.

He said he went to a store and a girl walked up to him asking if he knew her. He said no and she told him the whole story.

 

He called me up today telling me that he had been slipt something in his drink and he didnt remember anything. She told him theyd hooked up and she gave him oral. I love that hes being honest with me so I gave him another chance.

 

I told him that in our relationship i fhe cheated on me once that if he told the truth straight out and been honest with me, if he didnt have sex, then id give him a second chance.

 

All my friends think he is lying but I don't think he is. He told me 'If you want to break up with me now i guess i deserve it. I really f*cked up and im so sorry. I dont know why I did what I did. Your the best thing thats ever happened to me and I don't want to loose you. I don't think you deserved any of it and its all my fault. you treat me so good.'

 

My friends say that hes a huge lier but of course I don't want to believe so. I don't think hes that kind of person. I asked him what had happened in his previous relationship and he told me that his recent ex treated him like crap so he cheated on her. But if hes telling me I treat him so good then why did he cheat on me?

 

I guess once you start to cheat you can't stop.

 

John (my boyfriend) treated me so good. I love him so much and I seriously don't want to loose him. I don't understand guys and their stupid excuses. He made me out to look like a complete moron.

 

What should I do?? Should I think of a way to get him back like revenge?? Should I have given him a second chance?? What shouldd I do????????

Honestly it takes a BIG man do admit to his chick that he cheated on her ! I think he really is sorry for what he did. And the saying once a cheater always a cheater is BS. Sometimes people cheat because they think theres something out there better for them and when they find out its not true they regret it. I would never cheat on anyone but thats my reason why people would cheat. I dont know about slipping something in the drink though ? sounds weird that a chick would have to like date rape a guy. But I think just by him admitting it to you the next day and you not finding out on your own is worth it. He seems sorry for it and I would give him a chance ! It takes alot of guts and regret I think for someone to admit that they had cheated and they know that it could end the relationship. so give him a chance I think ! But IF it ever happens again then dump him. He now knows the lesson and there is no excuse for it to happen again.
