melell
Is it crazy that after returning from a long holiday I was most excited to get home to meet someone I barely know/have never met? Like, in thinking of things to look forward to.
acrosstheuniverse
I know what you mean. I met someone online a couple of months ago who lives way too far away to meet, but who may be coming to live in my country in September for a PhD programme. I love talking to him, I look forward to seeing him online, we've skyped and stuff. I think if we were near each other we'd probably be into each other but as that's not a reality for any time soon we're just enjoying our budding friendship as much as we can for somebody so remote, and we both know that we don't really know each other at all unless we meet. Doesn't mean I don't really love speaking to him, whatsapping him, skyping him though when someone can hold your attention that much via technology it's pretty impressive! Whatever happens or doesn't happen I think I have bumped into a possible friend for life and have gotten so much from speaking together already it can only be one of life's wonderful and random little occurences.
