Stating "how you liked to be touched" in a dating profile.

When I read some of the online dating profiles, I sometimes see more and more of the "stating of the obvious".

 

On particular aspect is openly talk about how they like to "spoon, cuddle, kiss, hold hands, etc"

 

One I recall going into a highly descriptive, "I like it when my man passes by me from behind me, as he puts his hands on my sides to make his way around me."

 

I mean, what kind of person doesn't like physical affection?

 

I don't know, just seems kind of weird to state in what manner "you liked to be touched" in your dating profile.

 

Recently, I've seen this woman on and off POF (in my area) countless times (different screen name each time), stating this in her profile. Her and a few others.

My guess? Previous relationships that lacked that kind of physical expression. There are a lot of men ( and I'm sure women) that are very non demonstrative. So what seems to you like stating the obvious...to them maybe not so much.
