Boys will be boys, of course - I've done stupid things, I've climbed on roofs and I've probably gone higher up on cliffs and things than you should without a rope. But it was never so intentionally stupid. All you need is one bird to fly past and that's it - your "friends" (though in my mind friends don't let friends hang from buildings) will carry what they saw and played a part in for the rest of there life, your family will grieve, your mum will be left without a son, your futures all gone - its stupid whats worse than stupid is its selfish. 1 Link to post Share on other sites

Climbers do this nonsense sometimes. I know a woman who fell not all that much, but right on her back and she broke it. Now she is in a wheelchair in her 30s. I do feel bad when its like a genuine accident - when people fall out of trees and break there backs and stuff like that because - In another life it could of just as easily been me. But when its something so...stupid and avoidable! and it puts others lives in danger - risks other people growing up without there dad or brother cause they were trying to save you - how do you live with that?
