We were living in a major city (not together) and there was a huge missile that destroyed most of the city. I could see the missile before it struck and then watched the flames rise, knowing I would be struck within seconds. In my dream I was engulfed in flames and then I noticed a certain kind of quiet silence. I didn't know where I was. The next scene was in a hospital where I saw my ex-wife. She had prosthetic legs since both her legs were blown off. As for me, I don't know what physical state I was in. I seemed to have been merely a spiritual presence in the room, yet I could still speak with her. We were both crying and feeling like we had wasted so much of our lives. There wasn't the feeling that we made a mistake by divorcing, per se, but rather an agreement that we both were taking life for granted until we got physically handicapped. Any Daniels in the forum who can interpret? Or I guess my dream is self-explanatory. Link to post Share on other sites

While I can't hold a candle to Daniel (or anyone for that matter), sometimes God will give vague insight. I strongly feel that the "city" is all of the people you have/are in contact with. Fire is cleansing. He is "destroying" sin. You may be about to go through the fire that will take you directly into the Holy of Holies. At the same time God will do a fantastic work on your ex changing her walk- there will be peace between the two of you. I'm not sure if she will become a believer, although she will "understand" you and come into agreement. I can't tell you how much hope your dream gave me, almost like a new lease on life- not kidding. Having the Spiritual equivalent of a turnip as of late, focusing on the darkness I see in the world, having little hope, the quiet desperation begging God, "please reveal Yourself", well He did- thank you so much for being obedient!
