I wouldn't gain weight because eating all that crap would make me throw up!:p

So I guess you've never had a plate of pasta from an authentic Italian kitchen then....Throw up? Yeah...ok...

All kidding aside..

If you answered the question correctly, the reality is that you would quite possibly(probably) balloon to a size 24 and have an ass like a Salvation Army sofa in less than a year...Yet. another individual can eat the same thing and be unaffected..Thats the point..

I dont know whats so difficult to comprehend..*shrug* ...Everyone knows people like this, they really aren't that rare..

TFY

OK, light meal for dinner (old fart eats his heavy meal at lunch)..... simply some corn (carb) and homemade salsa (some veg/some carb) put in a small saucepan with the juices and reduced down for about 20 minutes on low heat. Figure one can (no fresh corn in the house!) of corn and about a cup of salsa. Spiced it with a bit of taco sauce, split it into two portions and that's dinner, with a glass of low sodium vegetable juice. I'm experimenting with eliminating bleached flour products so no bread of that type in the house. No desert. Need to get to the fruit stand to get some fruit...wait, I have an orange tree out in the orchard....check to see if there's some non-frozen oranges! Ha!

With fruit, dinner would have carbs, sugars and very little/no protein.

Another key to food 'health', especially for an older person - smaller portions! As example, that chicken breast at lunch today was half the size (cut a normal size breast in half) of what I used to eat as a younger man. Don't need it! Sure, athletes might but I'm mostly swinging a shovel and standing in front of machines all day. As others have stated, calories in, calories out. Less active; less food. It works!
