irc333
Saw a dating profile on POF where she put 2 names of cities in her "Location", I found that a bit strange, then I read her introductory paragraph. She said she's having a hard time finding men in the city where she resides...and it is a big city, so there's no other reason why she shouldn't be meeting other single men...but she stated, that she will be visiting New York in the future and using that venue as an option. Apparently that's her home town or previous town or something. Isn't it a bit too picky when you're unsatisfied with your dating options in a city even a BIG one to resort having to take these measures? ANd what's the point, how will living in one place, but trying to find someone to date 100s of miles away when you'll be going back home anyhow?
Imajerk17
irc, *where* do you find the time to concern yourself with this? HOW is this going to help you reach your dating goals?? Let's face it--75% of profiles of either gender suck. You'll save yourself a lot of time if you chalk up profiles like these to one of the 75%.
MidwestUSA
Haven't you said you've exhausted the options where you are? Maybe she's onto something. I'd follow her progress, you never know!
salparadise
How you know a woman is being unreasonably picky... you've been rejected.
Els
So someone who is travelling to meet people is being 'unreasonably picky'? Snap, and here I thought she'd said she wanted a 6'6" guy who makes 300k/year and does 100% of the housework.
PegNosePete
Why do you care if someone you don't know and have never met, is "unreasonably picky" or not? Besides it is everyone's prerogative to be as picky or unpicky as they like, none of your business. If you like her profile then message her, if you don't then don't. If you stop to psychoanalyze every profile you read then you're going to go insane pretty quickly.
