irc333
Here's something I've been doing lately. Esp. with OK Cupid when they have the "You can send me a message if..." Usually I look for things like "If you think you're God's gift to women, move on!" or "If you think taking a selfie in a mirror is great, please don't email me! It seems I tend to gravitate towards profiles where women explicitly talk about how they are turned off by narcissistic men and are more high on the intellectual level. They seemed to have reached a level of maturity where they actually find shallowness a turn off. This bodes well for me because being an average Joe, I tend to score responses and even dates with these ladies. Does anyone here see something that "Pops" out at them in a profile that makes you (Men) want to email them?
Allumere
a) The guy actually smiles in his pictures. If they don't smile I assume they take themselves to seriously or have no teeth. b) If they say "Loves to laugh" it's an automatic No. Otherwise it is pretty random. Something they might state, maybe some sarcasm or it may be a similar philosophy is what gets my attention. This past time I was actually trying to listen to the big guy but well that didn't work out so well.

Or the constant "My kids come first" or "My kids are my world, and if you don't like it...move to the next profile!" Granted, I take no issue with dating single moms, however, when they have this cliche'd speech in their profile....it's a turn off....not the fact that she puts her kids first...that goes without saying but it's the CONSTANT... "STating of the obvious" that turns me off.
Tayken
I automatically scroll down to the part that says education and job to see what they have been doing with their life. The age is also important to me...as someone in his 40s, I'll not go lower Then I read their profile to see what they are all about, interests and hobbies looking for commonalities before messaging them Provocative picture with so substance is not worth my time and effort, and it usually tell me that they don't have much going on for them, self esteem is low and they just need a guy to carry them
SadNLonley
May not have to do with the profile, but how about the ones where the profile pic looks like a mugshot? lol. um passsss.
TheyCallMeOx
The first thing I do is look to see if she does drugs, drinks, or smokes. If she drinks or does drugs, that's a big NEGATORY. Then I read her profile. If it makes me laugh, I'll at least message her to comment on what made me laugh and why regardless of how compatible we seem to be. If she's got kids, that's a big NEGATORY. If she talks about what she doesn't want in a man for the majority of her profile, I'm intimidated and that's a NEGATORY. If the profile is short and only answered 10 questions, that's a big NEGATORY. Job and level of income is my least concern.

I know people are sober and thats ok as long as she has dont drink for at least 2 years. Smoking and tobacco use is bad and Its a must for the women not to have used it at all.
