When people leave their mailbox full

Recommended Posts

I had been chatting with a woman online back and forth for about part of the week. Apparently at the end of Feb. , she'll be moving to my neck of the woods. But in the mean time we've beeping in touch on OKC. I got her phone #.

I said I'd be calling today, and she said, "Okay, but I don't answer, it means I'll be resting and I've been having a real bad headache the past few days"

I did call her, her VM picked up, but the "mailbox is full and cannot accept anymore messages".

Does this mean she gets tons of calls or just never empties her mail box?

Based on her comment about not answering she probably leaves it full on purpose. Some people don't always feel like engaging with others and can often do stuff like that to prevent being forced to do so.

Now there's an idea.....

That way when the Inland Revenue/Police/double Glazing salesmen/my mother calls, I have the perfect excuse.....

Could be either but her last contact matches up with a more purposeful ignoring of her VM's due to how she's feeling.

A third reason did occur, one I'm not sure is possible but that message might happen if the person had the functionality to disable their voice mailbox. I've never tried to do that so don't know.

Happened to me. Who knows what it means but it's an annoying hurdle.

Why bother exchanging numbers?

Why bother exchanging numbers?

Because it's one of those "I'll only engage in the person when it's convenient to me" rule

Sure, I'll give them my phone #, but I'll answer return their phone call whenever I FEEL like it.
