Achieving "Independence" ???

Recommended Posts

Most of the time when I'm down in texas city, at my grandparents, or aunt's, me and my cousin are both there. And I've been down to texas city the last 5-6 weeks because I've been working

Here's the problem, my brother rarely comes down, and when my grandma asks me why he isn't down in front of my aunt, my aunt says well he's independent, he's the social one. So it sounds to me like she's placing me in the same class as my cousin who is weird and doesn't really like to talk about girls or anything.

To me, this is terrible, and I'm out to send a nonverbal message that I AM in fact social and can be independent, and have a life outside of school and working at my granddads gun store. What do I do?
