Yup! Took me a while to figure it pit but yeah it was just the rice

 

 

 

Same here, it usually takes a bit longer to digest.

Folks...you be the judge

 

1 cup of brown rice

 

1 cup white rice short grain

 

1 cup white rice medium grain

 

1 cup white rice long grain

 

1 cup quinoa

 

1 cup wild rice

 

Remember: When it comes to weight loss, it's calorie deficit that you need. You can eat all the Carbs in the world, as long it's low in calories and you are exercising. You want to keep the fat down too

 

Carbs get converted to glucose and then stored in the body as glycogen. This is what gets used when you exercise, and once it runs out , the body starts trying to get it from elsewhere...i.e. via protein and burning fat in the process

I find quinoa to be a little overrated although the parents fed it to me day and night as a child. I'm not certain that even brown rice justifies the amount of calories and carbs it packs.
