Targetlock
Just when i think i'm ready to give up on OLD, i get pulled right back in got a really nice conversation with a lady going for the last week (no problem about distance this time thank god! same county this time) and i've been wondering when is it the best time to ask her out? i'm worried that if i ask her too soon i might scare her off don't want to mess it up like i have before. Thanks for any advice and comments.

You won't scare her off, most of the time women are trying to figure out why you aren't asking. Go ahead and ask her.
MixedUpChick
I agree, definitely ask her. Always makes me a little nutty when I'm chatting with some guy & he doesn't ask to meet or for my number... I usually end up having to push things that direction myself, which I don't like to do. Ask away, if it doesn't go anywhere it definitely won't be for lack of you trying! Good luck

HappyLove
Good luck! I'd only suggest you offer something simple. Say something like 'Hey, would you like to meet for coffee or dinner, whatever your comfortable with?' Better to find out now. OLD is for DATING after all not pen pals.
Author Targetlock
Yeah that is what I've always thought, OLD is supposed to be the jumping on point so to speak, not the main focus of the relationship so to speak. will try and keep it simple
Author Targetlock
well i've gone ahead and asked her: Hi I've been having a really nice time talking to you (name removed) and think it would be even better to continue this conversation in person, would you like to meet in person for coffee or dinner? whatever you are comfortable with hope she likes it
