Not even just a lil cheese grated over something. I gave it up 100%. I can feel my hip-bones now. I use lo-fat milk in my numerous cups of tea.

Any thoughts from slim healthy people?

You must have consumed a whole lot of cheese...

Did you use to hunker down and eat it by the wheel or something?

So wait. Were you using regular-milk in your tea before? It seems highly unlikely that you would lose 18 lbs from eliminating a food that you were likely only consuming 100-200 calories a day of. Still, good on you for losing the weight.

Some folks are known to do that.

Eat kale, collard greens, broccoli, turnip greens, and spinach for calcium in lieu of milk products.

Congrats and good luck,

A 'full pack' the size of a butter pack, per day. It sounds like a half, or more like a full pound, of cheese. Significantly more than 100-200 calories I'm thinking!

(I do so LOVE my cheese!)

You can splurge and have a bit of cream in your tea now. Very few calories. Just goes to show what a simple lifestyle change can do. Well done!

I love cheese but can't eat more than an ounce at a time, which is about 110 calories for most. That with an apple or pear is very filling.

You can still eat cheese but potion and calorie control is key! Nuts too get the bad rep of impeding fat loss but that's because the average person on the average day should have a handfull max instead of 10 handfulls! Cheese even more so since some cheeses are incredibly calorie dense.

Doesn't mean they are unhealthy quite the contrary but if you overeat them which is very is very to do it will lead to weight gain.
