M30USA
Obviously women have tons of support with regard to divorce. But I've been pleasantly surprised about the recent rise of support for men. This YouTube channel has really helped a lot and given me great insight: http://m.youtube.com/user/DadsDivorce Does anybody else have resources that helped them?
carhill
I recall a member on my dementia forum going through some issues and I directed him to a place called dadsdivorce and it seemed to help him. That was years ago though. That was one area, not being a father but going through a divorce while caregiving, in my position with the patient being much like a child, that I had no real resources to rely upon. Most of my fellow caregivers were either successfully married or single/widowed. Seeing how peer support could help caregivers, I can only imagine it would be invaluable to fathers going through divorce. To me, it was the 'you're not alone' aspect which really assisted in the day to day stuff.
