Told my coworker I thought he was cute. He has a gf..

I've always found this guy in my office to be really cute, brown hair nice eyes really nice personality. We went out a couple of months ago to a happy hour and he told me he was single (I had a bf). Now that I'm recently single I thought id throw it out there. We all went to happy hour last night, he talked about a vacation he's taking with a girl, got drunk talked and by the end of the night I told him I found him cute. We talked and flirted, be told me his friends would love me. We exchanged numbers and continued to text for a little bit. He said he's not blind I'm beautiful with an awesome personality and that I hav slot going for me. He said unfortunately he's seeing someone and didn't know I was single until earlier in the night. In between these texts we spoke on the phone for a little bit all drunk talk I don't even remember what was said to be honest. I thought today would be awkward but I said hi to him asked how he was feelog etc. I feel guilty for flirting with him and giving him my number. I wish he was single. Thoughts?

Hmm... probably best to just leave him alone. You wouldn't want to get caught up in something with him as the "other woman". Be friendly and cordial at work, but don't flirt with him. Now if he should happen to be single anytime in the future and you are still single then I'd say go for it... but not if he's dating someone.

Just step back. Don't flirt with him; don't text or chat with him on the phone. Be polite but don't take it further than that. If he is truly interested in you, he will make himself single again so he can pursue something with you. If he doesn't, you can assume that his interest in his girlfriend is stronger. Just don't let yourself fall into the role of being the other woman. That won't end well for you.

Thanks. We went to happy hour again on Thursday. After he left I texted him saying sorry for the other night I felt guilty for saying that when he has a gf. He didn't reply. The next day I saw him in the kitchen and he asked me to do him a favor..I thought he was going to say to stop texting him but he said to stop apologizing. I will take a step back, I deleted his number so I don't know it anymore. If he wanted me, he would make himsel available. He' going away for a couple of weeks with his gf next week so I guess well wait to see how that turns out.

Why? Don't wait for anything. Get out there and start meeting other guys. You now know that he's dating someone else, so assume from this point forward that he's unavailable. Don't bother waiting it out.

Oh I didn't mean it like that. I definitely won't wait around for him. Newly single, I'm on the prowl :)
