statng
Hi, new member here. I have just started to regularly approach women, and have realized what I've been missing out on by not putting myself out there in the past. I've made several friends/acquaintances by this recent surge in assertiveness, but no opportunities to really find out more about the person and pursue a date. What is the best way to initiate interest in doing that in cold approach form without coming on too strong? Btw, I'm 23, a recent college graduate, but am doing a combination of part time work, volunteering, and taking a class at a different college as well. Unfortunately, the only place I feel confident approaching is a college campus, but I'm not there very often. I look quite young for my age, so approaching in the professional world is more daunting for me.
d0nnivain
Be friendly. A smile & a hearty handshake go a long way. Ask for soft meet-ups first -- would you like to get coffee or a drink? If you click then you can progress to something more. At 23 see if you can get yourself some space in a summer share house to meet new people.
JungleLover
The key is to be very sociable. Be active. Go out and meet folks. Go to that party and take that extra ticket your buddy has to the Lakers game. It all starts with being social. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and being willing to forgive yourself very easily. That is really important.
BradJacobs
You said that you just started talking to girls. Does this mean recently as in today or recently as in this whole month? If you only walked up to one woman and it didn't lead to a date then there may be nothing wrong with your approach, you just need more of them. If you've walked up to 100 women and haven't gotten a date then it's probably mechanics.
