Why is my ex still asking about me?

Me and my ex gf broke up 2 months ago and ended in bad terms. After being together for 1 yr we were having a lot of issues and she left me for another guy. Today, I went to pick up one of my friends at the hospital where she works at. I guess she found out I was picking him up because he wrote down several numbers on a scratch paper. That's when she began asking him "how has he been? What is he up to? Etc.. My friend didn't tell her anything and just told her "aren't you happy with your new bf? Why are you asking about my friend?" She also told him "tell him to come f#*% me again he was good.. Jk" I then received a call from the hospital and answered thinking it was my friend and it was her. I immediately hung up and kept rejecting her calls (x4). Why is she still asking about me or decided to call? If she claims to be in love with this other guy which I'm pretty sure is cheating on her. Also, my friend told her that why is it that she's always posting pictures of her and her new bf on her Instagram all the time. Her bf doesn't have any of them together. "Isn't that a red flag"? She just replied that it doesn't really bother her. Any advice?

My advice: don't do anything.

 

 

Most likely, she knew your friend was in the hospital. She asked about you because she's not a horrible person & wanted to make sure that you were doing OK / that the break up hadn't destroyed your life.

 

 

I would not assume she was asking because she was not happy in her relationship or that she wanted you back.

 

 

It was probably born of curiosity or residual kindness but nothing more.

 

 

If your friend wasn't in the hospital, meaning it wasn't easy & fortuitous for her to ask, she may never have inquired.

More to the point, why do you even care..?

You can never second-guess her, so just block, delete, deny.
