And he said, "Well, apparently an old "friend" from out of town came back into her life....and well..that's why she's not with me today." KathyM Posted March 3, 2014 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I know a couple who were supposedly happily married, and then an old flame of the husband came into town for a high school reunion, and he ended up divorcing his wife and running off with the old flame from high school. His kids were devastated, of course. I know a couple who have been exclusively dating for many years. An old flame of her's (who is now married) rekindled the relationship with her and she was about to leave her long-time boyfriend to run off with this old flame who was married to someone else.
