Mr.Milked
I kind of liked you bold and vane about how my hairs would grow out of my nose and mesh inside my facial hair. However, I have been told that this is a turn-off for the kitties. So I clipped them. Next, I have been informed to do something with my yellow teeth.

Author Mr.Milked
No ear hair that is noticeable yet, but I definitely acquired my paternal grandfather's eyebrow DNA. Some of them hairs really have a mind of their own.

MidwestUSA
I was thinking of a haircut and maybe clip my toe nails today. Whadda you guys and gals think? I don't know. Sounds like a lot for just one day. Maybe on two consecutive days?
Author Mr.Milked
I don't know. Sounds like a lot for just one day. Maybe on two consecutive days? You are so right! I decided to put off the toe nail clipping until tonight. Then I can tackle the hair another day. Baby steps...
Author Mr.Milked
I'm looking at my toe nails now and thinking that maybe they don't look so bad. Sure the ends are starting to look yellow, and there is some stuff that I hope is sock link stuck in the corners, but maybe I don't need to clip them tonight. Not sure yet. What do you guys and gals think? This self-improvement stuff is really hard...

What do you guys and gals think? This self-improvement stuff is really hard... If you scrape the stuff out of the corners, don't give it the sniff test. It's best to assume it's sock lint. If the ends are yellowing, why not just get a French pedicure?

MidwestUSA
Um yeah... Still haven't clipped my toenails. It sounds as if you are struggling a bit. Remember, there's no shame in seeking professional help if it will help get you on track.

Baby steps are best. Especially with gnarly, unclipped toenails impeding your progress.
MidwestUSA
I agree. Baby steps are best. Especially with gnarly, unclipped toenails impeding your progress. I hadn't even thought about the physical limitations, I was focussing on the psychological. Situations like these bring out my desire to help (I do have a bench grinder). I think I should probably get some help myself to overcome this desire to step in. Silly nursing/nurture thing I have going on, you know?
Author Mr.Milked
Well, still haven't clipped my toenails but know I will have to tackle that job now that they are starting to damage my dress socks. However, I was near my work today and the same old metal scrappers were roaming bye and saw a typical wash sink next to our dumpster and broke the sink in order to take the metal drain and left all the pieces laying everywhere. Me, like the dummy I am, tried to move some of the pieces to the side with my feet and picked a few of the larger pieces up and tossed them in the dumpster. After this foolish act there became an extremely fast flow of blood from my thumb, even though it was just a flesh wound and not very deep the blood just would not stop. I found myself a little amused by this and just watched it drip and drip for a while even after I tried to seal the wound; peroxide, bandage and pressure. But was it normal to enjoy watching myself bleed? Something about it felt therapeutic and I can't explain... Is it similar to why some cut themselves?

MidwestUSA
I'm not familiar with a "French pedicure" or what is significance or the meaning of your statement. Should I Wiki the answer? Yes you should! Look up 'bloodletting' while you're there. I really think your onto something. You're having a great day so far! Was the metal drain for an art project? Yes, I watch too much HGTV. Author Mr.Milked
Yes you should! Look up 'bloodletting' while you're there. I really think your onto something. You're having a great day so far! Was the metal drain for an art project? Yes, I watch too much HGTV. Ok... I watched this video: And came to the conclusion that those are too fancy for me. I got a pair of clippers at home. The search on bloodletting is more involved and am not feeling confident enough to express my opinion there, yet.
Author Mr.Milked
Also, I got cats. WW said give them to the shelter. She didn't care. Anything that was in the way of her getting closer to her new perspective on life was literally expendable. I mean after yelling at me how she never wanted daughters and how she was ready to go out and explore "life" without the shackles of 'children' in her path, the animals she begged me to let live in our house were practically a forth or fifth inconsequential afterthought of fiction I was using to make her stay. So, yes, I am a cat man. I love them stupid critters. So get this, one of them adorable cats she left me with actually brought a live bird in my room and I had no idea. I woke up yesterday morning thinking birds were singing to me out my bedroom window.. Maybe even a little close to my shutter of the window. But I was so concerned with my own station in life that I never once actually left my comfy bottom cusion to see why this birdie I was hearing like one in my room, so so noticeable. Horror to me last night, after I went downstairs to enjoy a little time with my two daughters making and eating dinner last night, I return to my bedroom to find a flurry of feathers everywhere like someone had bust open one of those old fashioned feather pillows and loosed it upon the majority of my living space in my bedroom. The body was in the center of the floor, ripped out entire bloody guts laying right next to the body, it's head severed off and over near my dirty clothes pile practically 2 feet away. I took me a little while to clean it all up and realized that there was a murder that took place in my bedroom of a massive and pretty bluebird, and I failed to hear his melody that was pure and true. I feel so guilty!
Hello_is_it_me
I always just pluck them out with tweezers or my fingers (so they'll take longer to grow back in) though I've heard this can lead to sepsis. I'll take my chances lol
MidwestUSA
Ah, the old 'cat brought me a gift' trick. Hate when that happens. Mine are not outside critters, so the most I must deal with is an occasional spider or water bug. Don't let this set back progress in the other areas of your life! Stay focused! Hello, while effective, your method is dangerous. Not only sepsis, but meningitis is a possible negative consequence. You see, you've just opened up a clear path to the membrane that protects your spinal cord. It's right up there with piercing your tongue. I have heard of that method being used in Hollywood to bring tears to the most waterfall resistant actors/actresses. Haven't heard of any famous deaths as a result. To each his own, if you want to live dangerously, who am I to tell you otherwise? OP, I was thinking of the black tipped Frenchie. It's classy, and with flip flop season coming and all, well, you know - sexy! But, do what you're comfortable with.
Author Mr.Milked
The regret about the bluebird my wayward cats brought to my bedroom that really gets me in the heart, is how it must have been alive all day only to try and make a break for it after I came home and visited my bedroom first, turned on the light and computer, of course... That bird had a last chance for me to notice its' plea for help, and I failed. It has to be a sign of some sort, I'm sure.
Author Mr.Milked
Now I'm worried! I must look up this "sepsis" business right away! If anyone would like to share more information, it would be greatly appreciated.
