Author napy666
I don't go out much so why shower everyday? And shave skin? If I shaved today and tomorrow my skin was clean from shaving why shave again? You'd cut yourself? All I do everyday is stay at home on my PC and watch TV.

You should be showering every day.
lovebirds
I am going to second the OP here: I shower three (sometimes two) times a week, most of the times every other day. I have short hair that does not get greasy easily and I don't sweat. I am not smelly, I don't feel dirty, etc. No complaints from my ex ever - although he was a serial showerer I hate wasting water as well so when I can, I don't! I also wear the same dress or T-shirt for two-three days if it's not hot outside and I have not sweated. When I was a kid I used to bathe each week and that was it!
Chocolat
Minimum is a shower every morning and a bath at night. Sometimes a second shower in the afternoon, depending on the weather and my activities (ie, date night).
MissBee
How often do you women shower and shave yourselves? I usually shower twice a week sometimes three times a week and shave twice a week. What about you? If I showered/shaved on Monday and wanted to shower today do you think I should shave too? The hair doesn't look that bad to me. What do you mean you shower twice a week? Is water a scarce resource or is it for some other reason? I shower daily, sometimes twice a day, especially if I'm going out or in the summer months. If say I am out all day in class or what have you and I showered in the morning, but am going out on a date or something later, I'll shower again to freshen up before I go out at night. I like to feel clean and esp if I'm around other people, esp if it's intimately, I am paranoid about not being clean, so I am very into showering, smelling good, grooming etc. I don't shave daily. My body hair doesn't grow that fast, so shaving once a week is enough for me, sometimes every other week. Like now in the winter, I don't at all shave my legs often, but the hair also doesn't look crazy and I'm also in pants all the time so it doesn't matter.
Woggle
At least once a day and most days I shave though I admit I have sometimes skipped shaving if I have nothing to do that way.

Maybe there is a much bigger issue than showering and shaving that you should be tackling, then...?
veggirl
I'm confused and fascinated by the bolded statement, to the point that I cannot focus on anything else. Oh wait, do you mean shampoo? If so, I started out with a very different assumption... yes it's short for no shampoo! My hair should be looking naturally amazing anyyyy week now I guess the transition period takes up to 6 weeks but hopefully I'll work down to only using it once a week. carhill
My exW showered daily and one of my enjoyable jobs as a husband was occasionally scrubbing her back, which often led to scrubbing her front! Unlike a lot of members, I provided shower/bath water privately, meaning through my own water system from the ground, and didn't mind that she heated it up and used it daily. It was OK! As far as shaving, she had a wax pot and I'd help her with that too! I don't recall ever seeing her shave though I'm sure she did. TBH, I didn't mind body hair but being hairless in that way was her choice.
stillafool
I shower before my day begins and take a bath a night. I don't hair much hair on my legs but shave accordingly. I don't think I could sleep if I wasn't clean.
