Musing
I challenge you...to challenge me! I've been living in a drag lately, and am in my last semester of college. I have seasonal affective disorder and am trying to heal from a breakup while dealing with angst and excitement in the months leading to graduation. I've been trying to do some self reflecting and am noticing that I have several problems: A) I have almost no motivation or drive. B) Either it's chemical, or I just haven't found my "thing" yet. C) I haven't found my "thing" because...I have no motivation to find it! D) I really want a life outside of browsing the internet because I don't have much of one (besides school work and activities) The weather will start to break soon, so I want to try to get outside when it's not 30 or below. E) I just generally want new experiences and hobbies and cool things to fill my downtime with So, I will challenge myself with the help of the awesome people here. What do you have to do? Challenge, dare me to try something. A hobby, learn a skill...I need some ideas and encouragement. It is easy for me to look up lists online and say "I'll do this...tomorrow/next month/..." and then never think about it again. I will post back with a report within 24 hours of my experience with accepted ideas, barring I have the time and resources necessary to follow through with them. What are some of your hobbies? What do you like to do? I am up for recommendations.
